The Mad Cat - Pidley, Cambridgeshire

Formerly the White Lion, this pub underwent a change of name following the poor depiction of the lion by a former sign artist. The locals considered the painting of the lion looked more like a mad cat than the king of the jungle and the pub was subsequently renamed to adopt this nickname.
